Happy Birthday Michael, you're missed in flesh, but never forgotten in both heart and thoughts. We will carry on your earthly mission, while you continue to march on in God's special Marine Corps Battalion. Always Remembered ~ by Elizabeth Kilbride With each passing day, you remind me you are still with me, because: With every Sunrise, I see your smile With every crack of Thunder, I feel your strength With every Breeze, a gentle kiss touches my cheek With every Step I take, your heart beats another day In every drop of Rain that falls upon my skin, I feel your warm embrace In every howling wind, I hear your roaring laughter In every tear I shed, another link to life is forever thread I have never forgotten you! It was appropriate. FYI, I'm here in Okinawa. You can bet we'll take a break to remember those who have gone before - MD Anderson Jr included... Respectfully, Maj "O" ROK

I miss you brother! On Feb 26th, I was in a Humvee accident. The vehicle lost control and went head on to a cement median and it flipped. Luckily, I was ejected and only sustained a broken right thumb and index finger, bruised lower back and hip, one broken rib and a concussion. It would've been worst. I have no doubt that you were watching out for me that day. Thank you for that. I loved you like a little brother.

Dearest Mike, a few more days and it will be another year that you have been gone, yet the memories of you are still vivid and we still miss you like it was the first day you were gone. The Hibiscus plant we put in the ground for you a few months after you passed, has bloomed beautifully this year... in fact one stands out bright right now. We call it our Mike plant. I have some beautiful flowers coming your way in a few days, only I wish I could place them there myself. We miss you and love you always.

I saw the video through a link from OPFOR. This is a wonderful site and tribute to Cpl. Michael Anderson. I am deeply touched. We will not turn our backs, despite what the so-called leadership is trying to do to hamstring the very people sworn to protect us.
